Welcome to my website! My name is Trevor Baron and I’m a full time professional private music instructor with my own teaching practice Bach To Basics. As a musician I served as a choir director at King of Kings Lutheran Church in St. Albert for two years, and organist for five. I’ve studied music with The Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto, The Alberta College Conservatory of Music of Edmonton, Berklee College of Music in Boston, and I’ve attended courses from the Grant MacEwan music department in theory and performance. I have over a decade of music teaching experience preparing students for the practical and theoretical examinations of The Royal Conservatory of Music, and Conservatory Canada, and have a great deal of experience teaching a wide range of children and adults with varying needs. My skill sets allow me to offer students a flexible curriculum based on sound educational techniques, but with the ability to mix and match a variety of subjects allowing students to have a more customized learning experience. Students can mix and match lessons in piano, drums, guitar, theory, composition, music production, or work on larger recording and career related projects.
If you feel that I may be of assistance in helping you reach your music goals, and are interested in private music lessons, I can be reached through the “Contact” link on this website or by visiting www.bachtobasics.ca.
